Traumi di mano e polso
Nelle problematiche traumatiche rientrano, oltre alle fratture, anche lesioni tendinee, legamentose, nervose e cutanee
Tendinopatie
Dito a scatto, Morbo di DeQuervain e tendiniti di mano e polso sono probelmatiche di frequente riscontro.
Cisti
In questa categoria possono rientrare i gangli del polso, frequenti anche in persone giovani, le cisti mucoidi delle dita e cisti benigne dei tendini.
Problematiche
post-traumatiche
Dolore e/o limitazione delle attività che derivino da pregressi traumi e possano richiedere ostotomie dell'osso, ricostruzioni legamentose o trasferimenti tendinei.
Morbo di Dupuytren
Patologia che provoca formazione di noduli e cordoni fibrosi al palmo della mano con flessione progressiva delle dita.
Protesi articolari
Sempre più utilizzate anche in chirurgia della mano.
Artrosi
Anche la mano è sede di frequente artrosi primaria, in particolare la base del pollice, dove prende il nome di rizoartrosi.
Compressioni nervose
Tra le più conosciute, la sindrome del tunnel carpale, ma anche altri nervi possono esserne soggetti come il nervo ulnare e radiale.
La "mano reumatoide"
Patologie autoimmuni possono manifestarsi spesso a livello delle mani e polsi e a volte possono esserne la prima avvisaglia.

Tendinopathies
Trigger finger, De Quervain’s disease, and tendinitis of the hand and wrist are commonly encountered conditions.
Cysts
This category can include wrist ganglions, which are also common in young people, mucous cysts of the fingers, and benign tendon cysts.
Post-traumatic conditions
Pain and/or functional limitations resulting from previous injuries that may require bone osteotomies, ligament reconstructions, or tendon transfers.
Dupuytren's disease
A condition that causes the formation of nodules and fibrous cords in the palm of the hand, leading to progressive finger flexion.
Prosthesis
Also increasingly used in hand surgery.
Arthritis
The hand is also a common site of primary osteoarthritis, particularly at the base of the thumb, where it is known as rhizarthrosis.
Nerve compressions
Among the most well-known is carpal tunnel syndrome, but other nerves can also be affected, such as the ulnar and radial nerves.
